Homemade Lemon Hairspray

I LOVE this recipe! It’s SO simple, it smells great, and it’s completely natural!

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 lemon (if your lemon is small, use 2 lemons!)
  • 2 cups of water (if you live in a place with yucky sink water, use bottled water)

Step #1: Cut the lemon into wedges.

Step #2: Place the lemon wedges into a pot.

Step #3: Add 2 cups of water to the pot.

Step #4: Turn on the stove and let the lemons boil until half the water has evaporated.

Step #5: Strain the water into another bowl or jar and discard the lemons. (Unless you want to keep them for some reason… who knows?)

Step #6: Pour liquid into a empty spray bottle.

And WALLA! You have your very own lemon hair spray!

I added a few drops of Lemon Essential Oil into my hairspray after it cooled. I love the smell of lemon, so it makes the smell stronger! Totally optional, but I like it!
